THE RETIRED CHIEF OF VOICE OF AMERICA (VOA) HAUSA SERVICE HAS PAID A SPECIAL VISIT TO ASATTAHIR INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION (AIF) TO CELEBRATE ITS FOUNDER ON HIS ADMISSION INTO THE AMBASSADORIAL ASSEMBLY UNDER THE AFRICAN UNION (AU) AGENDA 2063.




‎The Chief of Voice of America (VOA) Hausa service, Alh. Aliyu Mustapha, has specially visited ASATTAHIR International Foundation (AIF) to celebrate its Founder, Amb. Aliyu Sidi Attahiru, MBA, FICRPC, on his admission into the Ambassadorial Assembly under the African Union Agenda 2063. ‎During his visit, he congratulated the Founder on his well-deserved attainment and wished him success in advancing humanitarian service and African development through his new role. Similarly, he expressed delights and high level of satisfaction on the general operation of the Foundation.

‎Discussions during the engagement which held on the 14th December 2025, centered on the Ambassador’s new role within the African Union framework, the humanitarian interventions of AIF across the North-West region of Nigeria, and the Foundation’s commitment to evidence-based programming.

‎Notably, AIF presented a copy of its research on Fire Disaster Preparedness and Response in Sokoto state to the guest, highlighting the organization’s contribution to policy-relevant research and disaster risk reduction. Moreover, ‎the meeting also reviewed AIF’s ongoing initiatives aimed at serving humanity, strengthening community resilience, and supporting vulnerable populations through sustainable and innovative interventions.

‎In his remarks, the Ambassador expressed deep appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to doing more for humanity through inclusive and impactful humanitarian actions. In addition, the Executive Secretary of AIF, Prof. Yahaya Tanko Baba, also used the opportunity to advocate for stronger partnerships with media houses, emphasizing the critical role of the media in amplifying humanitarian efforts, promoting accountability, and advancing development narratives.

‎The meeting ended with a group photograph and exchange of pleasantries.
