‎The Founder and Chairman board of trustees of ASATTAHIR International Foundation (AIF) Amb. Aliyu Sidi Attahiru, MBA, FICRPC the Special Emissary, Political Affairs of the African Union Ambassadorial Assembly (Agenda 2063), joined world leaders, including His Excellency the Vice President Kashim Shettima GCON of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, alongside policymakers and experts at the 39th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

‎On the margins of the Summit, he engaged in strategic discussions focused on advancing Africa’s development priorities, particularly the AU Theme of the Year 2026 on Safe Water and Sanitation, alongside broader conversations on justice, governance, peace, and the implementation of Agenda 2063.

‎On 12 February 2026, the Ambassador took part in the Pre-Summit Citizens’ Dialogue on Human Rights, Justice, Governance and Peace, organized in collaboration with Amani Africa Media and Research Services, Open Society Foundations, and the Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU).

‎ The engagement featured interactive dialogue sessions, group work, and plenary presentations, providing a platform for civil society actors, legal experts, media professionals, and practitioners to share experiences and develop practical, forward-looking recommendations aimed at strengthening accountability, promoting constitutional governance, and advancing durable peace across Africa.

‎He joined the Summit engagements from his country office in Nigeria, demonstrating continued commitment to advancing continental priorities through active participation and collaboration.

‎These engagements reaffirm a shared commitment to inclusive development, citizen participation, and the realization of Agenda 2063. The Africa We Want!
