‎The Congress was held under the theme: “Accelerating crime prevention, criminal justice and the rule of law: protecting people and planet and achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the digital age.”
‎
‎The Congress featured four thematic workshops, alongside high-level plenary sessions, discussions, and elections, focusing on resilient societies and the protection of women, children and youth; equal access to justice; data collection and analysis; and the responsible use of technology in crime prevention and criminal justice.
‎
‎AIF’s participation provided an opportunity to showcase its humanitarian and development interventions across Northwest Nigeria, share community-level experiences, and engage with international stakeholders on justice, protection, community resilience, and sustainable development.
‎
‎The Foundation also used the occasion to strengthen relationships and explore opportunities for international partnerships and collaboration, reaffirming its commitment to bringing local realities and community-driven solutions to the global stage.
‎
‎The 15th UN Crime Congress provided a significant platform for advancing global dialogue and cooperation on crime prevention, criminal justice, and the rule of law.
