As part of its ambitious plan for extensive coverage of rural women and youth for BVN enrollment in Sokoto state, the District Head of Gagi hosted the ASATTAHIR BVN Enrollment Team for the continuation of the exercise.
Before the commencement of the enrollment, the District Head of Gagi, Alh. Sani Umar Jabbi addressed the prospective enrollees on the benefits of bvn enrollment for financial inclusion and mainstreaming. He also encouraged the Village Heads under his District, who were in attendance, on the need to mobilize their people to take advantage of the kind gestures of ASATTAHIR International Foundation, which has offered to enroll people free of any financial burden.
In their response, the Village Heads welcomed the kind gestures of ASATTAHIR and promised to mobilize their people for the exercise.
After the briefing, the exercise continued as many people, particularly women and youth were enrolled successfully. The exercise will continue tomorrow, the 21st December, 2020.
