ASATTAHIR INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION’S REPRESENTATIVE FACILITATED A SESSION DURING THE lA 3-DAY SENSITIZATION ON GBV ISSUES HOSTED BY THE MINISTRY OF BUDGET AND ECONOMIC PLANNING IN COLLABORATION WITH UNFPA

On 30th July 2025, AIF representative facilitated key session on Information Management during a 3-day sensitization training on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) hosted by the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Rufus Yagkong, AIF’s Head of Programs and Research, facilitated a session focused on Information Management for effective GBV prevention and response.

His session emphasized the critical role of accurate data collection, coordination, and reporting in strengthening multi-sectoral GBV interventions.

Participants at the training included representatives from the Ministries of Women and Children Affairs, Humanitarian and Social Development, Health, and Budget and Economic Planning.

The training featured comprehensive discussions on the prevention and response to GBV, underscoring the importance of coordinated efforts across government institutions and development partners.
