A delegation of ASATTAHIR Foundation paid a sympayhy visit to the zonal office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Huaman Persons (NAPTIP), on the 29th November, 2021 over the fire incidence that razed the building of the agency.
The sad incidence occurred in the afternoon of the 27th November, 2021. The delegation od ASATTAHIR was received by the Zonal Commandant of the Sokoto office, Barrister Abubakar Bashiru and his entire members of staff of the agency.
The Commandant took the delegation round the razed office and shelter that have been destroyed by the fire.
The Executive Secretary of ASATTAHIR, Prof. Yahaya T. Baba expressed the sympathy of the Foundation and prayed for the replenishment of the lost valuables and the speedy reconstruction of the damaged building.
On his part, the Zonal Commandant of NAPTIP expressed appreciation for the sympathy visit and commended the Foundation for its longstanding support and solidarity to the agency as one of its strategic partners.
The Chairman of the Foundation, Aliyu Sidi Attahiru prayed for the continued protection of the agency and its staff as they commit themselves to the protection of vulnerable people in Nigeria.
The group posed for a group picture after which the delegation was seen off by the Commandant and his staff.
