On 3rd July, 2019 a delegation from Save the Child Initiative, Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to the Corporate Headquarters of ASATTAHIR International Foundation. The visit, according to the Chief Executive Officer of the STCI, Abdulganiyu A. Abubakar is meant to forge collaboration with the foundation to fast track the protection of Children, particularly the vulnerable ones.
Specifically, STCI sought the support of the Foundation for the smooth implementation of the West African Network for the Protection of Children on the Move Project.
Responding to the request, the Secretary of the Foundation, Dr. Yahaya Baba expressed delight for the trust and confidence of STCI on the Foundation. He further remarked that the project focuses on an aspect of the Foundation’s major objectives, which serves as a source of motivation for the envisaged partnership and collaboration.
During the interaction, issues of mutual concerns that borders on Women, Children and other Vulnerable groups were discussed and some action plans were proposed to remedy the situation. The leader of the delegation signed visitor’s book before the group posed for group pictures.
