ON the 28th January 2025, ASATTAHIR International Foundation (AIF) participated in the Integrated Coordination Framework activity tagged ‘Finding Joint Solutions for Effective Service Delivery in Northwest’.
The objective of the activity was to strengthen multisectoral coordination and collaboration among stakeholders for an effective and integrated response in the North-West region.
The activity brought together key government officials, national and international development and humanitarian partners to discuss the best way forward for stakeholders in terms of integrated coordination in Sokoto state.
The deliberations centered on the overview of the existing coordination structure in the state to ensure effective collaborations and coordination on development and humanitarian interventions in the state.
Similarly the activity aimed to strengthen collaboration and coordination between the government MDAs and partners as well as to have an action plan for an integrated coordination framework in Sokoto state.
Participants actively participated in the discussions contributing to the improvements in the existing coordination structure and provided input on the pathway for improved collaboration between INGOs and government agencies.
