As a member of the Civil Society- Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN), ASATTAHIR International Foundation has participated in a Two-Day Coaching Sessions for CSOs on Financial Processes and Procedures from the 7th to 8th October, 2020. The training program was funded by the European Union under the Agent for Citizen Driven Transformation (ACT) Project, being implemented by the British Council.
ASATTAHIR was represented by Abdussalam Sidi Attahiru, the Financial Manager of the Foundation.
During the training session, on the advice of the British Focal Person, an interim Financial Officer of the Network was appointed.
The Network unanimously adopted Abdussalam Sidi Attahiru as the new interim Finance Officer of the Network.
During the training sessions, Dr. (Mrs) Maryam A. Koko and Mal. Abdulkadir Muhammad took the participants through the principles of financial policy as well as its scope and procedures.
The sessions were interactive that attracted questions and answers as well group work and exercises on various aspects of financial procedures and processes.
The Capacity Building Workshop was appreciated by participants and promised to put into practice the knowledge and skills they acquired during the coaching exercises in the transformation of their organizations.
