ASATTAHIR International Foundation Participated in a One-Day Training of CSOs on the Provisions of the National Action Plan on Gender and Government’s Accountability for Budget Allocation and Release, and Monitoring of the Budget Utilization on the 11th July, 2020 at the Dankani Guest Palace:

ASATTAHIR International Foundation participated in a training program organized by the Federation of Women Lawyers Association, FIDA on Gender Based Violence and Gender Responsive Budgeting.

The Foundation was represented by its Legal Adviser, Barrister Rashidat Mohammed and Sa’adatu Musa Gotomo, a member of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The training program took participants through various modules related to Gender Based Violence, Mainstreaming Gender in Public Budget and the roles of CSOs in advocacy for informed Gender Response Budgeting.

Prof. Yahaya Tanko Baba, the Executive Secretary of ASATTAHIR International Foundation facilitated one of the training sessions. The program was interactive and spurred informed contributions from participants and clarifications by facilitators. The program rounded off with group photograph.
