ASATTAHIR International Foundation enrolled a Four Year old Internally Displaced Child in formal school

Today the 5th day of April, 2019, Buhari Abdullahi, a Four Year old internally displaced child benefits from the humanitarian gestures of ASATTAHIR International Foundation. The beneficiary is a victim of violent conflict associated with the Boko Haram insurgency in the Northeast, Nigeria. His mother, Zulaihatu Sani left Mubi in Adamawa for Sokoto after her husband and farther were murdered in cold bold by insurgents in 2015. The little Buhari was orphaned and displaced while in his mother’s womb. Four years after his miserable life as a displaced child with no hope of being educated, ASATTAHIR International Foundation rekindled his hope to access formal education.
The foundation in addition to providing shelter for the them, enrolled Buhari Abdullahi at the Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa Model Primary School, Zuru Road, Sokoto. On arrival, the ASATTAHIR delegation was received by the Headmaster of the school, who handed the child to Buhari’s Class Teacher for registration and integration with the pupils in the class. As incentive for the retention of the displaced child, he is fully kitted with school uniform, shoe, stockings, bag and food warmer for daily school routine.
On her part, the mother of the child expressed her delight and appreciation to the foundation for the support and care shown to her and the child.
