ASATTAHIR International Foundation (AIF) participated in the inaugural dinner in honor of Barrister Rashidat Mohammed (ESQ) as the first female chairperson of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto state branch, who also doubles as the legal adviser of AIF.
The event which took place on Saturday 13th July 2024 at Pinnacle Guest Inn was graced by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Sokoto State Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto who was ably represented by his deputy. The occasion was also attended by the Minister for State Water Resources and Sanitation, Rt. Honourable Bello Muhammad Goronyo (Esq), High Court Judges, Grand Kadi, Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN), Lawyers and numerous well-wishers, among others.
AIF’s team was led by the Founder and Chairman Board of Trustees Aliyu Sidi Attahiru to congratulate her on the historic success in election and her emergence as the first female chairperson of NBA in Sokoto state.
In her vote of thanks, the NBA chairperson appreciated ASATTAHIR International Foundation for the amiable trust and the opportunity given to her to serve as the Legal Adviser. Moreover, she expressed her delight for the support she has been enjoying that enabled her to discharge her responsibility in the Foundation diligently. being humanity and humanitarian services are part of AIF’s central activities, she appreciated the Foundation for the opportunity given to her to deliver services to humanity as well as interactive supports to various vulnerable groups within and across the state.
Invited guests and dignitaries expressed their best wishes to the celebrant, the new NBA Chairperson Sokoto state branch and further wished her a successful tenure.
