On 23rd April 2025, ASATTAHIR International Foundation (AIF) actively participated in a one-day Sectoral Integration Coordination Meeting organized by the Sokoto State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning with support from partners in the state.
The objective of the meeting was to strengthen coordination between implementing partners and the government for seamless service delivery across various sectors in the state.
The meeting commenced with a welcome address by the Honourable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Dr. Abubakar M. Zayyana, who expressed appreciation to all partners for their commitment and participation.
He commended partners for their impactful multi-sectoral interventions in the state over the years and charged them to be even more result-driven in their approach going forward.
Goodwill messages were delivered by Commissioners, Special Advisers of various ministries and agencies, as well as the Chairman Coalition of NGOs in Sokoto state and representatives of international partners.
AIF was represented by its Founder, Aliyu Sidi Attahiru, Executive Secretary, Prof. Yahaya Tanko Baba and the Head of Programs and Research, Rufus Yagkong.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking, information exchange, and strengthening synergy between implementing partners and relevant line ministries and agencies.
